Two words would describe Leon perfectly: playful and sweet. 

Leon is a super playful pup, he is the soul of the party! Friendly with every dog, every human and every kid! 

Leon would do great in a family with kids. He is very active and loves running and playing! 

Leon is the only dog in our shelter that is not mayan. Leon comes from the north of México. We found him outside of a taco stand (what a cliché) with a pretty bad and infected face injury. He was all dirty covered with mud, as if someone run over him, or something like that. 

We where traveling on the road with a group of veterinarians on our way to a free masive spay and neuter in Reynosa, and stopped for some tacos in Monterrey. 

Needles to say we couldnt leave him there, so he came with us two hours on the road, we left him the week at a vet clinic and then picked him up to travel again two hours to Monterrey, then fly to Cancún, then another road to Playa del Carmen and finally a boat to Cozumel island..!! 

Leon has been enjoying the island life quite good, running alongside the bike and dipping into the ocean. 

We would love an adventurous person to take Leon on many adventures!
